Seeking Shelter and an Angel Round

I currently live with two roommates in a great house in Noe Valley. One of my roommates is moving out, so the remaining roommate and I have been spending time on Craigslist’s Housing Wanted board the past few days. One post today jumped out at me:

I clicked. And what I found was classic pursuit of the Silicon Valley Dream.

My name’s Drew, and my co-founder Eric and I are startup founders (weutt.com) who need to move into the Bay Area this summer for our early stage company.

The situation: Eric and I don’t have enough money to pay full rent in SF. We can pay upward of $500 a month each, but we would like to find a place we could both work comfortably in. We will be using the apartment as a living and working space.

We are willing to offer to pay up to 1.5X for rent once we receive angel funding.(ex. 1000/month for 2 people, could pay you 1500/month possibly). Our advisors and fellow tech founders have told us we will most likely receive funding if we are here this summer.

This can be a win win for both sides. When we get funded we are happy and we’ll pay you more than your asking for. My cell is 360.628.6025. The sublease would be from around June 1 to mid August because the funding should happen during that time.

Drew and Eric- I wish we had room for both of you in our house (though I’d want preferred stock) and I hope that coming to San Francisco for the summer delivers exacting what you’re hoping - or expecting - it will.
